Hüttenes-Albertus Chemische Werke GmbH is a chemicals group. We are aware of the fact that the existence and the continuous success of our company depends on to what extent we fulfil our responsibility towards our partners.

Our top priority is the responsibility towards our customers. Without customers we would not exist. We always try to reach a broad range of industrial companies and to approach them and their needs and requirements in a professional manner. Our concept of customer service contains a wide range of technical products that are marketed competently and at competitive prices.

Another important responsibility is towards the shareholders of Hüttenes-Albertus. We target the highest possible return on capital employed by constantly improving our profit and by practicing a reasonable and innovative asset management. To meet this financial objective - combined with a healthy management - represents our goal to optimize the shareholder value.

We feel a very personal responsibility towards our employees. We attempt to create and to maintain an environment in which every staff member shall get the chance to develop and progress in accordance with his/her abilities. The remuneration shall reflect the individual contribution to the success of the company.

In all our business relations with suppliers of goods and services, we are obliged to honesty and integrity. We are very demanding but we play fair. The rating criteria for our suppliers are based on quality, price, reliability and service.

We regard the protection of our environment and the participation in local activities as an important obligation and we support projects in areas in which we are present and active. This means a higher quality of life for our employees and better conditions for our activities.

3．HA Health and Safety Statement
The worldwide HA Group of Companies is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest reasonably practicable standards of safety and health for all employees and members of the public who may be affected by our activities and we will strive for continuous improvement in theses areas.

all accidents are preventable and we are committed to the attainment of zero lost time accidents by 2005;

safety is a line management responsibility of equal importance to production, quality and profitability;

the involvement and co-operation of employees at all levels is essential for the effective management of safety and health.

The Management is responsible for ensuring that arrangements are made for the fulfillment of this Policy and for monitoring its implementation and effectiveness.

To ensure that all our business activities perform beyond minimum legal standards Hüttenes-Albertus will:

● Achieve and maintain conditions of work which are healthy and safe;
● Provide adequate welfare facilities for our employees;
● Seek to eliminate accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences;
● Carry out appropriate health screening every three years in an effort to eliminate occupational ill health;
● Provide effective instruction, training and supervision and ensure that persons employed are both physically and mentally fit and competent for the duties expected of them;
● Ensure that all employees are fully aware of their responsibilities regarding safety, health and welfare;
● Identify hazards and assess risks and eliminate were practicable.
● Involve employees at all levels by establishing local safety committees;
● Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
● Continuously review and revise company policy and procedures;
● Provide adequate numbers of competent persons to advise on all aspects of safety, health and welfare;
● Provide adequate resources to ensure full compliance with this policy.

4．Environmental Policy Statement
The worldwide HA Group of Companies recognizes its obligation asleading foundry products manufacturing company and is committed to ensuring that all of its businesses are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.We aim to minimize the adverse impacts our operations may have on the environment and on local communities. In order to achieve these objectives we will:

● Make environmental management a high corporate priority through the operation of environmental management systems
throughout the business. This will involve monitoring, auditing and reviewing of environmental performance and setting of objectives and targets in order to achieve continual improvement;
● Meet all applicable laws, regulations and industry codes of practice;
● Provide adequate resources, staff and training so that employees at all levels recognize and are able to fulfill their responsibilities;
● Take all necessary and practicable steps to prevent pollution;
● Review and take account of the environmental implications of all our activities and plan and conduct the design, development operation and restoration of any facility in a manner that optimizes the economic use of resources whilst reducing adverse effects on the environment and local communities;
● Promote and maintain dialogue with local communities,regulators and other interested parties on relevant issues.
